OUR ROOTS IN FOOTBALL
INTRODUCING MARVIN MORGAN
Marvin Morgan was born in Manchester, UK before moving to suburban London at a young age where a young boy would experience the shock of moving to the big city. Growing up in North London wasn’t easy, the local dream was to make it in sports or follow in the footsteps of the area’s local hoodlums. So, from a young age, Marvin realized he had to make a choice between a life in the streets or pursuing his dreams and changing his life for the better.
Luckily for Marvin, his dream of becoming a professional football player came true. Starting his career in the non-league circuit playing for the likes of Wealdstone FC and Yeading FC making a name for himself as a well-rounded and reliable striker. In 2008, Marvin finally got his shot. Playing his first professional football game in for newly promoted league two side Aldershot Town. He later had successful spells at Shrewsbury Town and Plymouth Argyle. Now still playing at the youthful age of 36 with semi-professional club Hornchurch F.C. They are currently members of the Isthmian League Premier Division and favorites to win.
GRASSROOTS SPONSORSHIP
Marvin believes giving back and sponsoring grassroots football is vital. He started playing football with his local grassroots football team at a young age that path the way for him to become a professional footballer. Not only does it bring people from the local community together. It helps our young people stay fit, healthy and develops an individual's sporting talents.
